First Annual Family Wellness Day celebrated in Browning

It was the first Family Wellness Day to be celebrated in Browning, and it began Friday morning, May 17, at the Browning Middle School parking lot where walkers and a motorcade began their march toward All Chiefs Park.

Blackfeet Cleanup Week begins Saturday, May 25, with free dumping at the Tribal Transfer Station from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for Blackfeet Solid Waste customers.

Browning to send three to state track and field meet

Wyatt Mad Plume, Tiara Show and Jenny Jo Tailfeathers all qualified to compete at State Class A Track and Field competition in Laurel this weekend by finishing in the top five in their event at Livingston last weekend.

Heart Butte golfers qualify for state


Senior Frank Harrison IV led the way this year again for the Warriors golf team by qualifying in their first meet at Fort Benton.

Summer rodeo to begin May 31 at Charging Home Stampede Park


The NRA Rodeo season kicks off May 31 in Browning at Charging Home Stampede Park. Rodeo action starts at noon with a slack performance and then resumes at 6 p.m. for the main rodeo performance.
